Biography

                                                                      Diana Elizabeth Mejia

I was born on December 20,1992 in Monterrey Park Hospital to Veronica Palacios and Fredy Mejia.My mothers parents are Juan Palacios and Margarita Palacios who were born in Mexico but unfortunatly my mothers mom passed away when she was seven years old and her father had his legs amputated a couple years ago they had ten kids eight daughters Elsa,Ester,Luisa,Olivia,Natty,Vicky,Jessie, and Elena and two sons Juan carlos and Ramon.My fathers parent names are Alejandro Mejia and Maria Mejia they were born in El Salvador and had three kids which is my father Fredy Alexander Mejia,Rene mejia,and Hugo Vicente Mejia.My first best friend were two girls named Keyani and Daniela but I would always be attached to my cousins Stephanie and Chris the most beacuse I consider them part of my family. The first teacher I ever had was Mrs.Rosalina who was my Preschool teacher at El Sereno Elementry and I feel lucky to have had her as a teacher beacuse I had my aunt Katia as the teacher assistent and my grandpa would pick me up after school which ended at 11:30 i think and would take me down to McDonalds and we would eat a Big Mac together and then for Kindergarden I went to Farmdale Elementry and then my grandparents bough a resteraunt and in 2nd grade I had been playing on a fence and I slipped and I had been wounded by the spear from the fence but most people think It hurt but I tell them I didn't feel anything when it happen well i got about seven to nine stiches and then my mom bought me a dog that year which i named bingo and my brother let him out of the house and got hit by a car so then the same year my brother Andrew Palacios went to farmdale and people always ask me if we have the same dads which we don't and that same year we moved to a bigger apartment and we got two cats mine was princess and my brothers was blacky.Then in 4th grade my mom and step dad a house in university hills by Cal State L.A and I made a couple of friends and then my mom had taken in my grandpa juan and she would help him with everything and I would help her when i could but then a couple months later he went back to Mexico and my became pregnant and the on September 28,my sister Ariana was born and then that year I graduated from Farmdale and that same year my grandparent closed their resteraunt because they were both too sick to work my Grandpa had Diabeties and my grandma has Myeloma. My first day of sixth grade was horrible for me I didn't have anyone to hang out with I was confused and I had to wear Uniform.Then I met my best friend Marisol Samayoa who is still my best friend and my grandpa died that same year and that was a hard time for me and my family beacause he had been in a coma and then well they decided to take him off life support and then from that day I had changed I decided to live my life as best as possible and then I got braces and I had chores by the time I got to seventh grade and like every other kid at my age I hated them.My favorite holiday would be christmas beacause I loved getting people presents and I loved being able to see everyones presents and i liked sleeping at my familys house and playingwith my cousins and the nickname I have are Dianita which I love beacause it makes me feel unique.When I was growing up I always wanted to be a teacher but now I want to be a doctor or a police officer beacause I like to help people so that they can have a better life.On my first year of high school I couldn't find my first class which was in the one hundred building but this wasn't like my first day of middle school I had a blast beacause I had my best friends Marisol,Daniela,and Emily.The funest time in my life was my confirmation retreat that we went to the mountains and we didn't have any technology and we stayed there for the weekend and I had a blast there beacause it was the safest trip I had without my parents and I was closer to god in my mind.The first club I joined was United Students.Then I had my quinceanera which was one of the most memorable moments in my life and I was finally able to do my first communion and then I was able to take the body and blood of christ.Then a few days later my dad took me out to drive for the first time ever and I'll get my licence in December.My goal is to graduate with a 3.0 or higher and go to a four year university and beacome a doctor or a police officer.Also i would like to get over my two fears of spiders and death.The biggest change I would like to make in my life is to not be scared of my parents and be able to focuse better in school.The biggest accomplishment is that I was able to graduate on stage with my friends.My strengths are I would say in English and my weaknesses would be math and chocolate.I would like to be stronger in sports beacause I would love to be in the softball team at my school.I speak two languages Spanish and English and i am learing Chinese.All my life my grandma and great grandma would give me advice on everything from careers to boys. The advice they would give me the most is to be careful with what I say and to forgive the people who have hurt me and befriend them.I have never been in a relationship with anyone.I don't like having enemies beacause I guess I seen the worst people in the world but I chose to treat them like a friend and never a enemie.Advice I have for people is that never let anyone get in the way of your happiness an if someone dislikes you it's ok beacause you'll know that they are missing out on a great person.I don't think I'll change anything about my life because it made me me and I've learned for my mistakes.What I hope for my future is to gradaute go to collage and have a steady life and  hopefully they'll be peace and people would stop seeing color and the sex of people and just accept people for who they really are.
